It is in this light that the ASJ Alumni Association recognized the value of being organized, working as one for the benefit of the many.
The ACADEMY of ST. JOSEPH first felt the warmth of Grand Alumni Homecoming in 1997, the Golden Jubilee Year of ASJ’s existence. Since then, Alumni Homecoming has been celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Alumni themselves. Unaware of the non-existence of ASJ Alumni Association, the Grand Alumni Homecoming went through yearly hosted by Batch, particularly the Silver and Golden Jubilarians.
However, in 2012 ASJ Grand Alumni Homecoming, Fr. Bernard Teneza, SVD., Director of ASJ and Ms. Marilyn B. Bayag, ASJ Principal felt the need of having a lead association of ASJ Alumni, so after the motorcade at about 10:00 in the morning, they gathered all ( Batch Representatives) in St. Arnold Room for an urgent meeting. Despite the reluctance of the Batch Representative to leave the activities they had at that moment, majority of the Batches were represented. As evident proof, out of 62 Batches (Batch 1950 to Batch 2012) there were 34 Batches who were represented. Thus, the big account on the ASJ Alumni Association history was conceived.
